What a lovely give away. The sweetest thing about Christmas is Christmas morning, everyone in their flannel jammies opening packages in front of the fireplace and eating the chocolate from their stockings BEFORE breakfast, pretty paper flying everywhere and if we're lucky...snow! I've loved this from the time my kids were very little and still love it now that they're in their 20s.

Hey Sonya! Pretty Christmas sparkles - who would like more sparkles! My favourite part of Christmas is time spent with family. We used to have big get togethers of extended family that included lots of fun, lots of noise, lots of matresses on floors, lots of people at the table for meals, lots of laught ... and lots of love! We don't get together in such large numbers any more, but Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without spending time with at least some family members! Oh, and presents, of course! Tee! Hee! Hee! Bear Hugs! KRIS

The sweetest thing about Christmas ?
The anticipation of the kids, even if they are not that small anymore - advent calendar traditions, the smell of fresh baked Christmas cookies, abundance of candle lights in the windows and on the tables.
The best time of the Christmas is the weeks before, when all the prepping is going on.

Another great project. It is so hard to think of just one thing about Christmas that makes it the sweetest thing. I think maybe the top sweetest thing for me will be this Christmas when my daughter will be 16 months old and really experiencing the joy of Christmas for the first time. Last year she was too young to understand. I would also have to say one of the sweetest things is the yummy desserts that are made for Christmas day - plum pudding, pavlova, multi layer jelly and the list could go on.

Another gorgeous project! My sweetest memory of Christmas is our family meal. When my children were young I started a tradition where I write each course of the meal (appetizer, main dish, etc.) on a slip of paper. Each person draws one slip and then they choose what they want for that course. There are no requirements to make the meal match. The first year we did it we had nachos, pepperoni pizza, broccoli with cheese, Gatorade and chocolate cake.
